It Started at Home
Before Aarvika Naturals became a brand, there was a simple observation.
A mother making skincare and haircare the way it had been done for generations.
Natural ingredients. Homemade recipes. Familiar wisdom.
There was something beautiful about the simplicity of it—and something equally important that we noticed: so much knowledge about natural beauty exists around us, yet very little of it reaches the modern consumer in a form that is accessible, consistent and convenient.
That thought stayed with us.
Then Came 2020
The world changed.
The pandemic made us look more closely at what we put on our skin and hair, and at the growing desire for products that were closer to nature.
At the same time, we saw another problem.
Quality natural skincare was often positioned as a premium luxury—available mainly to consumers in larger cities and frequently at prices that made everyday use difficult.
We asked ourselves:
Can natural care be made better, more accessible and more relevant to the way skin is naturally evolving?
That question became the beginning of Aarvika Naturals.
From Three Products to a Growing Portfolio
In August 2020, Aarvika was bootstrapped with just three products.
We researched the market, studied pricing, availability, vendors and the difference between online and offline buying. We listened to customers. We learned from retailers. And, most importantly, we kept improving.
What began as a small experiment started finding acceptance.
Three products became a growing portfolio.
The business expanded from its initial market into new cities and states, eventually reaching 16 SKUs, a sales team and three states.
But Aarvika Was Never Meant to Be Just Another Skincare Brand
Our journey made us look beyond the bottle.
India has generations of naturally inherited knowledge around plants, herbs, oils, home remedies and beauty practices. Much of this knowledge exists in rural and tribal communities, where talented people often lack the access and connections needed to take that knowledge to a wider market. The Aarvika vision was built around creating a bridge between this knowledge and modern opportunity.
This became an important part of what Aarvika stands for:
Nature should not be distant.
Traditional knowledge should not remain hidden.
Premium care should not be unaffordable.
And opportunity should not be limited by geography.
This Is Where Our Natural Hybrid Philosophy Comes In
We believe there is no need to choose between the wisdom of Ayurveda and nature and the possibilities of modern science and formulation.
Our approach is a Natural Hybrid—bringing together:
Nature + Botanicals + Ayurveda + Modern Science
Not replacing one with another.
Blending them thoughtfully.
Because skin is naturally evolving.
It responds to age, climate, pollution, lifestyle and the world around us. And if our skin evolves, our understanding of skincare should evolve too.
We Are Building Aarvika for That Future
A future where natural skincare is not a luxury reserved for a few.
Where traditional knowledge can find a place in modern life.
Where rural and tribal communities can become participants in the natural beauty economy.
Where a product can be good for the consumer while creating opportunity at its source.
Our long-term vision includes developing ways to connect rural and tribal communities in the Himalayas with processing, packaging and markets—turning naturally inherited knowledge and local resources into sustainable opportunities.
And our journey continues to evolve—from an initial three-product startup into an omni-channel business with ambitions for wider markets and global expansion.
Today, Aarvika Is More Than a Name on a Bottle
It is an idea that began at home.
An idea that grew through experimentation.
An idea shaped by customers, retailers, traditional wisdom and modern possibilities.
And an idea that continues to ask one simple question:
What is best for naturally evolving human skin?
We may not have all the answers.
But we are committed to keep discovering them.
With nature. With knowledge. With science. With people.
